András Csáki is a distinguished guitarist of his generation, a Junior Prima Award-winning artist. His evocative and sensitive play attracted audiences from numerous concert halls in the world from Japan to North America. He continued his studies at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in Budapest and at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles. He received his DLA at the Academy of Music in Budapest in 2014. His teachers were József Eötvös, Scott Tennant and William Kanengiser. As a student at Thornton School of Music, he has had ample opportunities to perfect his play with honorary professor Pepe Romero. During his student years he won such prestigious international competitions as the Tokyo International Guitar Competition (2008), the Michele Pittaluga International Guitar Competition (2009) in Italy, and Julian Arcas International Guitar Competition (2011) in Spain.

His mission is to present and promote solo and chamber guitar compositions of contemporary Hungarian contemporary authors. András Csáki has been a teacher at the Liszt Ferenc Music University since 2009 and from 2004 regularly gives masterclasses in Europe, Asia and North America. In March 2010 he was awarded the March Youth Award, and in 2015 he was the first guitarist to receive the Karola Ágai and László Szendrey-Karper Award.
