Musical imprint of the 23-year friendship of conductor-director Philipp György and composer Péter Zombola, for piano and vocals by Mahler and Zombola.

We learned about Mahler together and a lot of things through him. As a conductor I listened to his symphonies mainly with Bernstein. At the Academy of Music, Abbado and I heard the 9th. It was a life-altering, transcendental experience, with applause at the end that made no sense. We have many, many memories in common with this composer, we would like to reflect on them a bit at the concert.
