BOUNDARIES surround our daily lives. It is only human nature that we long to define, identify, describe, outline, mould every single thing. As a result, a variety of boundaries are created, formed, formulated that help orientation, and to a certain extent give a sense of security. Borders separate things and at the same time unite and hold some others together. Boundaries have many different characteristics, but one of them is generally true; they change…

… Layers also define my work. Implying that in many cases our memories are covered, obscured, adorned by time and history. These 'overlays-obstructions-blurrings' are like some thought-fossils. Our memories are stacked on top of each other, separated just as fossils in sediment.
