Márton Stummer was born in 1991 in Győr. He studied classical guitar and composition at the János Richter Conservatory with Ede Roth, Antal Pusztai and Attila Reményi. He received his teaching degree from the Tibor Varga Institute of Music, and in 2018 he received an honors degree from Ferenc Liszt University of Music as a student of András Csáki. We recommend Márton Stummer's first author's album First Step with the words of Ede Roth:

Despite his young age and the relative brevity of his past as a composer, the author of the solo and chamber music works on this record Márton Stummer has written numerous pieces. In his music, the characteristic features of classical music and jazz are distinct, in some of the movements they appear in close unity, mutually reinforcing each other. His works, characterized by the extraordinary colorfulness of the performing apparatus, enrich the repertoire of solo, chamber, stage and jazz ensembles. The language of the works on this album is fresh, its comprehensibility helps the listener and the performer to understand the deeper content, it is coupled with the thrill of formal diversity and never loses its focus.
