Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2020, the Hot Jazz Band will feature some of its most popular tunes at its first New Year's concert. The gems of the repertoire, consisting of nearly 6 hours of Hungarian compositions, were selected by the band based on their popularity with the audience. The creed of the band is to preserve the form, to keep the original sound alive, and to present the wonderful and treasured songs born at the dawn of Hungarian popular music. They do this in the band's unique yet period style and orchestration, often involving the audience in the joy of singing together. The Hot Jazz Band invite the lovers of hot jazz and old melodies to Óbudai Társaskör for a cheerful, heart-warming opening concert.
