Last season we had great success with our new piano concert series promoting our new Steinway D model. This season, we double down, so we invited two outstanding pianists for each concert to show the audience the gems of four-handed pieces of music literature.
Pianists Dóra Bizják and Károly Zentai, students of Edit Hambalkó, András Kemenes and Attila Némethy, graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 1996. They began studying four-handed and double piano literature under the tutelage of Márta Gulyás. They continued their studies at Illinois State University (USA) where they took their Master's degrees in 1999. They won first prize and special prize at the II. International "Silvio Omizzolo" Piano Four Hand Competition in 2000 in Padua. Their first single was released in Italy in the fall of 2001 with the title Four Hands Dancin'. The artist couple gives concerts in Hungary and abroad under the name Duo Klavi-Art. In addition to their concert activities, they also work as pianists and chorus masters at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and the National Philharmonic Choir.
