Swing à la Django is an innovative seven-member band playing in a world-unique instrumental line-up. They have created a special style they call Hungarian django swing, seeking a harmony of authentic Hungarian folklore music, French manouche swing and the world of chansons, tango, jazz and bossa nova.

Adapted for concert invitations they play authentic gipsy swing, django pop, new wave pop, django swing or favorites of the audience in a Swing à la Django style. Their greatest inspirations are Django Reinhardt, a Belgian-born, genre-creating gipsy-jazz guitarist, and Roby Lakatos, with whom they have been involved more and more in joint events and concerts in recent years.

Interpreting the django style in this way is unique in Hungary, but it is a specialty even abroad.
