The DuoCorde guitar duo was founded in the fall of 2017 by Eszter Szeghy and Renáta Szűcs. Graduate students of Széchenyi István University, they have participated in numerous events, concerts and competitions abroad. Their repertoire is constantly expanding with original guitar duo pieces and their own arrangements from the Renaissance to contemporary music. This year they took part in two international competitions, taking a special prize from Belgrade for the Guitar Art Festival and finishing second place in Omis, Croatia last summer. Their goal is to get to as many festivals and masterclasses as possible and to perform rarely-heard pieces on two guitars.

Members of the Tritonus Guitar Trio Levente Molnár, Gergely Szurgyi and Bálint Varga played under this name for the first time on January 10, 2015. This year all three continued their music studies at the Széchenyi István University in Győr, under Ede Roth and Balázs Arnóth. The band regularly performs for Hungarian and foreign audiences. They have been successful particpants at national and international competitions. They won first place in the Győr University Competition and the Szeged National Guitar Competition. They won the L. Luthier Chamber Music Competition in November 2016, in Bratislava. In 2018 they won the Audience Award at the Chamber Music Competition in Braga and the first prize of the Chamber Music Section of the Bratislava Guitar Competition. In 2019, they won first prize at the competition of Guitar Foundation of America (Chamber music category). The band constantly expands its repertoire, picking pieces from different musical periods and making their own arrangements for three guitars.
