For Bach in Blue, the artist selected widely known pieces from the composer genius's works and familiar jazz standards. He performs the latter in Baroque style. The program ends with the prelude of Shostakovich's Prelude in G minor, which is also a Bach reference as the work shows the influence of the Baroque master.

Norbert Káel studied at the Jazz Department of the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music with Károly Binder and Kálmán Oláh, then went on to study at the world-famous Berklee College with Laszlo Gardony and Joe Lovanon. He continued his education after moving to New York, but has also given concerts around the world and in Hungary. Several times he has performed at the Palace of Arts in Hungary and often plays in the most prestigious jazz clubs.

Norbert Káel is a pianist, one of the outstanding representatives of the crossover musical style, acclaimed in Hungary and internationally. He fuses a variety of musical styles in a unique way, creating a unique, individual sound, primarily using elements of classical music and jazz to interpret his musical ideas. Unique sound and complex rhythmic and harmonic elements characterize the artist's play, which fuses the musical worlds of Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Bach and Bartók, Chopin and Scriabin into a distinctive sound.
