The String Orchestra of the György Solti Music School is one of the most successful youth orchestras in Hungary. They have performed at Müpa, the Academy of Music and Studio 6 of the Hungarian Radio, as well as at the Klassz a PARTon Festival in Balatonfüred and at the opening of the Ars Sacra Festival at the Hungarian National Museum. They have already appeared on Bartók Radio, and televisoin stations Duna TV and M5 TV. In November 2018, at the invitation of the Balassi Institute's Hungarian Cultural Center in London, they toured the UK where George Solti's widow, Lady Solti listened to their concert and spoke highly of the band.

Their repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary music. Their concerts are also characterized by diversity. They also regularly play film music and selections from musicals. The band is led by violinist and Radio Bartók presenter Milán Bolla.
