LIFE IS A TANGO

MUSIC IN THE GARDEN

Miquèu Montanaro - accordion

Ádám Móser - accordion

Csaba Ökrös  - violin

Tamás Sándor Geröly - jazz drums, gardon

Life is a tango. Two steps forward, one step back… Strong, cheerful and sad at the same time! Tragic, romantic, dark, bright… Dancing and walking, love and fear, old and contemporary atmosphere, old and contemporary music.

The musical world of Miquèu Montanaro knows no boundaries, he is rooted in Provencal music, but he also feels at home with many other styles. This time he is playing with his musician friends in the garden of Óbudai Társaskör. In the first part of the concert they will improvize based on Hungarian and Provencal folk songs performed on the violin, flute and percussion.
In the second part, two accordions and two souls are intertwined, Montanaro performs the tangos he composed with Ádám Móser.

Tamás Sándor Geröly is a professor at the Béla Bartók Conservatory. He is a veteran of Hungarian-style jazz and improvisational music. After many years in bands with György Szabados, Mihály Dresch and István Grencsó he now leads his own bands. His play is influenced by folk music.

Ádám Móser's music is permeated by the freedom of improvisation, his accordion play is unique and we can discover the world through it.
