Traverata Ensemble has set out to present unduly forgotten pieces of flute chamber music. Their three-part series features Haydn's works and those of his students', as well as Viennese classical and early Romantic flute quartets. For the second concert in this series they match an early string quartet of the master with a popular Pleyel piece and a flute quartet by the lesser-known Lessel.
