Musica Profana was founded in 1987, they play 16th to 18th century music on period instruments. The members of the band have perfected their expertise taking courses from international experts. They have performed with renowned Hungarian and foreign ensembles and soloists in various musical productions and played at festivals (Saint-Donat Bach Festival, Tour, Old Music Festival of Innsbruck, Warsaw Opera, Radovljica Old Music Festival, Old Music Festival of Csíkszereda, etc.). The band regularly performs both in Hungary and abroad. In the summer, members of the band hold international master classes.
